In a choice of black or red 

 

 Learn how to carve a Mama Rhu vintage handbag cake, hand paint a leopard print design onto the cake and take home to amaze everyone.  

 This is a challenging class and you definitely need some working knowledge of using sugarpaste and covering cakes.  But with the guidance of Rhu you will be assured to create a fabulous cake.  My aim, by the end of the class, is to enable you to have the confidence to go home and take any cake and create your own handbag.

What you will learn:

 How to prepare your cake ready for carving

Some sugarpaste colouring, but otherwise working with ready mixed colours - black or red
create a template to work from
Covering and embossing your cake board with fondant
Carving the cake
Prepare your cake for covering
Covering your cake with fondant
Painting onto your cake
Adding detail to your handbag to make your very own designer bag

 

All tools, equipment and materials are provided including the cake for carving, board and box to take your creation home in.
