  Learn how to make sugarpaste figures for your cakes.

What you will learn:

 Make your fondant suitable to use for figure and modelling work
Making a male and female figures
arms and hands 
legs and feet
facial features
Creating simple clothing effects and detail 
Different methods of putting hair on to your figure
Securing your figures to your cake

You will take home two completed figures, one male - standing, one female - sittiing, on a dummy cake, or you can bring your own ready covered cake to make the figures onto.

For this class I am asking that you bring your own ready coloured and prepared sugarpaste, don't worry I will send you details of what to do in the confirmation email, this is due to my poor hands feeling the hard work kneading and preparing so much sugarpaste before the class!!!   I will provide the sugarpaste for the heads, hands etc in a flesh colour.

 Once you have completed this class the elements you have learnt will enable you to create a host of figures.

 

All other tools, equipment and materials are provided, please bring your lunch

It is recommended that you have some experience in using sugarpaste to do this class, if you are not sure please contact Rhu
